Help me dig up info on the crack prone 0331 head

Over on jeepstrokers.com I've started to assemble the beginings of a knowledge base on the 0331 head (2000 and up on XJ and TJ, 99 and up on WJ). As most of you know it's got a rep for cracking at least the first couple years.

I'd like to see if I can recruit some fellow NAXJA people with this head to contribute, if you have a cracked or uncracked 0331 head and can take a few minutes and a couple pictures. You can do all 4.0 owners a potential service by helping us figure out which exact castings are crack prone and which aren't...

The reason for this is simple... there are a couple years of 7120 castings (91 to 95), a couple years of 0630 (96 to 99)... But there are SEVEN years of 0331's out there and as the years go by we 4.0/Stroker enthusiasts will be lousy with them... it will be hard not to trip over them trying to replace a head.

Also this head also has better flowing intake ports than any other. (and more workable Exhaust if you're into porting) And It seems certain that this casting was revised to fix the weakness at some point... We're trying to figure out when and how to ID the revised casting.

If you're interested check out the thread in the "Stroker & Performance tech" section of jeepstrokers.com or this link if it works:
