I need some help guys. I have a 90XJ 4.0 5 speed. I have completely redone the A/C with R134-A, but it still doesnt seem to cool properly. All necessary parts were replaced and others cleaned. I have the right amount of oil and freon. No leaks present. The thing I notice most is that my compressor doesnt cycle. The compressor is a rebuilt one. When I went to install it, I had to remove the wire that screws to the top of the compressor from the old one. When I hooked it up, connected both of the wires coming from the compressor to the wire connector. When I turned it on it would immediately blow the fuse. So I clipped what I think is the ground wire and it ran fine and I was able to fill it properly. High side and low side pressures are within specs. Are there any sensors that control the A/C that could be going out, or do I need to find another place to connect the wire that I clipped. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
