Not sure who took some of those. I took some, and maybe Dave took others?

Wrong line! :D
Thats a GREAT line, worked for him!

Might have worked out better if he was driving someone else's rig, not mine but anyone else's. Mine he would have got it stuck on the curb at the mall!

.!. :D .!.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I have spent some time looking at them to determine what might be the best line for me. I'm going to be driving this in a right hand drive XJ so my lateral weight bias is going to be on the right hand side of my Jeep.

Looking at the T-Shirt picture, both front wheels are left of the crack. It looks like you would have to drive straight until the rear wheels where up the ledge and both front wheels back on the ground before turning right. It doesn't look like it would need much weight transfer to the right to start a tip if the front right wheel isn't on the rock before turning. Probably not a good choice for me.

Looking at some of the other shots, it looks like the best line for me is going to be keeping the large rock at the start close to the left. Then climbing the first ledge, avoiding what looks like a slot near the 'tight' rock on the right.

I'm running a Ford 8.8 with 35" tires and I reckon that if my rear wheel follows the slot, my axle is going to ground out, losing traction on my left rear tire. So by aiming to keep the left front wheel left of the crack, I think I need to go forward enough to make the turn when my right rear is on the ledge near the top of the slot. I am going to be sitting that side so I will be able to see my right rear wheel climb the ledge.

When I get there I will be able to spot the line I need straight away but watching videos of other vehicles driving this obstacle with different techniques has made me curious. This sounds a bit confusing in words. Can't wait to see what my wife thinks of it when she gets her TJ there.

So when are you coming out?

BTW I backed out of the line from the t-shirt pic. That was the only time I got denied. The last time I ran it was the first time I ran it on 35's. I pretty much got denied, but was able to make it up with a little help from people pushing from behind. The line changes due to a large rock at the bottom that keeps shifting. Not sure ir I could even get set-up right now because of that rock. But basically you got the righ idea; put your left tire in the crack and drive up, turn right, and gas it.
