Got a new roof rack installed/fabbed!

Well, locally in So Cal, we have a fab guy that is just tearing it up, so I dedcided to have him do up a roof rack with some rails to protect the Xj...here are some PICS...enjoy!

That's an awesome rack! The front light part is kind of big, but I'm sure once you get the lights in it, it won't look so big. Do you have any closer pictures of how it's attached?

Wait till you see my rack with high beams on it..... (d'oh)

Ok, so it weigh about 90lbs......it is attached to the rain gutter, I will dig up some better pics of that.... and it is getting painted and lights this week.....

Eh, Don't you think it's gunna rip those rails off? Aren't they just glued on? Plus, that things kinda heavy to be glued on.

Well they must be soldered on... I've seen em tear off...

Yeah, they have to be re-welded back quite a bit.. but after all... not a lot of surface area to weld with..

The XXXpedition XJ had somehting like 200 pounds on their and it broke a ton as well, that and a some other stress is why they scrapped the old blue jeep and now use the white one.
