good place to rebuild a motor? bay area..?

Looking to get my 87 motor rebuilt any one in the bay area know any good shops or have had there motor rebuilt...Or has anyone bought a rebuilt motor and from where? or would it be cheaper to get a new one and put it in?

russ pottenger in socal dude. he is on here. he is in the socal chapter. its totally worth it and will be close to the same cost but much better.

Junkyard or good running craigslist heep would be the cheapest. Otherwise Russ P for sure.

Russ for sure. Only motor I will consider when its time for a new one
