The last trip to Windrock left something afoul in my rear axle.
No pics yet, but the ring gear bolts backed out of my ARB....... again!!!!
The damage was horrific. Destroyed ARB, mangled my Bobby Longfield cryoed 5.13 ring and pinion and all the bearings have little tiny bits of ring gear bolt in them.

4Wheel parts will warranty everything including labor. All new parts again.

The R&P set is in California as of today. Hopefully into Longfield's magical hands in Washinton state on Monday for cryo treatment, then to 4WP in Atlanta by Wednsday, into my rig by Thursday.
What can Brown do for me?!?! Get me my gears!!!!!
It will only cost me about $160 for next day air shipping, and $45 to Longfield for new cryo treatment.
If that all happens without a hitch, Team Struggle will Flog. If not.......you guys take lots of photos.

Changed mine to plus 1, an old college friend of mine just moved back to alabama from texas and is going to join me on the trip, his rig isnt trail ready just yet. hes the guy with the M151 build on Pirate4x4

Im going hell or high water. Gotta do some stuff to Betty this morning to get her ready, but then I'll be good. I wanted to make good driveshafts but I am still awaiting payment on a few jobs and I am WAY too broke to buy the parts needed.
Team Struggle will be coming. If the Struggle Wagon is still broke then they will ride to Rock Solid in Chattanooga and then ride the rest of the way with me. No reason to pay for extra fuel if you have no rig to tow. Hopefully she'll be done though. I know Tim would really enjoy Golden Mtn. in his own rig.

Current status:
Jeep is running and should be good to go, but my right side LCA mount has wings and I'm not sure how good an idea it is to wheel it....may be cracked. I'm not sure if the new LCA mounts will be at RSOR in time for Tyler to get them welded on.
Also a minor concern is the fuel tank. Apparently the last cove trip made a huge impression on the tank, and my current capacity is unknown. All I do know is when the gauge shows under a 1/4 tank it will only take about 10 gallons. Surely it's not a 8 or 9 gallon dent, but I haven't pulled the plastic cover off the tank to look. So long as I keep it full, I should be ok though.
Only other concern is all the school work I put off earlier this semester while trying to get the Jeep back on the road. I may be able to get enough work done this week to consider myself mostly caught up in which case I'll be coming up for Saturday, but can't justify the whole weekend.
