GOLDEN MOUNTAIN PARK SEPT 4th THRU 6th or 7th

Tiff took somewhere in the neighborhood of 750 pics so *hopefully* she will have some pics up here in the next few days.

Tiff, I heard Matt say he would take you to dinner if you got the pics up soon!!:eyes:

Hey Melkors I wanna see that tree climb pic when you get around to posting. Thank you sir.

It was good to see you guys again and good to meet some new guys too.

Had a good time as well even for a maiden voyage and open diffs. Wish I made it earlier for the carnage run. Also thanks for the enormous b'fast, those biscuits were amazing. I've got some video I'll try to get up at some point.

Pretty sure my front DS is toast but I kinda figured that before I went, but its definitely making some funny noises now.

How did things go on Sunday? Anybody wheel or break?

for the short day of wheeling saturday i had... it was still a blast!
ended up breaking the trac-bar mount on the axle... (poorly designed by fabricator @ TT)
since i'm off work monday, i plan on fixing it... and it WON'T break again after i'm done!!!
...and if i have some spare time, i might post up some pics :dunno:

I did a vague look-over this morning and noticed that I Bent my tie rod pretty good at some point yesterday. Then I noticed a missing u-joint cap in my pass side front axle shaft... so I called it quits. Luckily, the inner shaft was in really decent shape. One of the ears was slightly bent in, but not too egg shaped, so I was able to slap in a new u joint when I got home. I probably could've gotten the c clip to work, but because it wasn't perfect, I decided to lay a small bead of weld on the cap to hold it in.

So, because I got everything tidied up today (nigels jeep finished and mine fixed) I will be hitting up Windrock tomorrow with my dad. Doug will be joining me for the ride, and anybody else that wants to join us is more than welcome. We are meeting in the parking lot at 9 AM Eastern, CB channel 7.

dang! looks like a good time! wish i could have gone...

Spent about 3hrs eating b'fast then ran 2, and some high speed gravel road passes, and some more drag racing. Pretty sure the 2.5 took the 4.6.:laugh3:

True story, I saw it. Matt, you let a 4cyl tj out run the stroked comanche . Now those would be good "action shots" for the monthly contest.

Ofcourse Tiff was cooking...

The pics are awsome. You can see him in front the entire time. Traction was a bitch, you can see in the pics where MJ went squirly around 50 or so.

Here are a few. Wish I would have gotten more of everybody. The trails were alot of fun but surprisingly slick for being so dry.

I don't know, 35's are def more helpful than the 32's were but the terrain was more slippery than normal so I can't say which I like more. The sidewalls flexed very well and overall I like them alot, but I love the old KM's and the new KM's are suppose to be even better.

I would have posted sooner, but we again have been having internet issues ugh.....

We had a blast!!! We only wish we could have stayed longer! Ed, thanks for riding shotgun and spottin me in the afternoon! As for the morning ride, Greg, Eric, and Glenn were stackin rocks and built a mini highway, but I made it up the ledge on 5 where Greg and Eric BROKE!!!!!

:greensmok

Thanks again to everybody who came out!! Open/Open on 32's still rocks! More later....

nice pics Dan!!!

...i still need to work on mine :(

Here ya go Matt, he's what i was splainin on my trackbar fix. My advice to everyone running a front track bar, get some exhaust clamps for your tubes, its a good fix, as long as you have a drill and bolts.

Gardendale, as you can see, something not quite right.

And trying to get it off the trail, wasn't lucky enough to be 100yds from the entrance, it was a pain getting it out and this did pretty much nothing. Didn't help I lost a front coil spring getting out either.

And my autozone fabrication trackbar mount, worked perfectly, drove home 65mph
