My suggestion of a Chapter "Sticky" (No comments from the peanut gallery!) was not seen as a wise option, due to it possibly causing the requiring of permits & stuff, since JV's become such a hot spot.
As has been said, there were two thread attempts, they got garbaged. They're referred to in the FB post.

Permit requirements in the desert are getting sticky these days. Any organized large club run needs one now. So, this is not an organized club run. It's an unorganized run, just a bunch of friends, most from the club, showing up out in the desert for a popular weekend. There won't be any organized runs, just unorganized runs. No organized activities, just unorganized activities. We're just a bunch of lame unorganized bastards.
