I'm predicting that this year will be his easiest win yet.
I don't think these guys believe they can beat him and are just waiting for his retirement.

I agree with you again. He has more determination and will power this year than ever. He is in a mind set that the other racers lack. He wants to prove to himself and show others that anything can be done with enough will power and determination. After he wins this race I think he will be satisfied with his achievements and retire for good unlike some other athletes who come out of retirement to try to prove something again.

I follow it. 100 years ago and 150 pounds ago I used to race. I raced USCF Cat 3, never got too much higher. Did OK and actually won a few races. I lived in Houston at the time and training/riding was available year round. We had a track too. (my specialty was sprinting)

Real jobs, real mortgage, real kids, moving back to Chicago perdy much forced retirement. Would love to ride again except decent bikes start at about $4000.
