Getting the old Rig KOH ready

Well actually you asked using my computer so it looked like I asked...

Not that it matters... Cant wait to see them work though.

KH

No, I double flipped off Cal using your computer. I asked on mine. :)

After 14.5 hours at Disneyland yesterday with the family I finally got to work on the jeep today. After sleeping in to 10:30 . Had to make new mounts in the rear because the new shocks are 1.5 wide at the hiem. Did some testing and they will just fit.

Man, that's close, you think there's going to be enough clearance for when it's all in motion?

You gonna be at the M&G? Bring an XL and I'll pick it up from you.

This weekend I got all the mounts done for the new shocks and it's ready for tuning on Wednesday. Took it for a short drive up the street and it feels good.

Lots of room in the front.

Thanks to Ron for coming by for most of the day Saturday to help with lots of little stuff that needed finishing. I'm sure he will pleased I got him sporting the pokiman shirt.

The tuning yesterday went great. The guys at KING spent all day working with me.Took some time to get it dialed in but, now it hauls ass in the desert. Soaks up big high speed whoops great. Much faster than before. Next week is 3 days at the Hammers trail running to see how they work on the rocks.

Great day to be in the desert.

Ahh, nice, the General Tie Ford....saw that at SEMA last week.

Glad to hear the testing went well!

Now if we can convince Dave that this is a non support race (thus needing spares and the like mounted on the vehicle) and not a weekend out rock crawlin'... Team NAXJA will have a good shot at it!

:D

I finaly got to test the new shocks out on the trail. No problems. I thought they might be to soft at ride hight but that wasn't the case. I was thinking I might need a sway-bar but after running it one will not going on.

On the tires. There just is no way to discribe how well stickies work. :grinpimp:

Couple pics Jes shot.

You know what the best part of your rig is?

It still has a license plate.
