Getting the old Rig KOH ready

Better than photoshop :D
my hat goes off to you guys, i like the looks of the rework/ redesign of Dave's rig!!! i don't care what i say about you guys around a camp fire, you guys do good work. don't expect me to say that again any time soon!!!!!

boy i wish i could afford the cool tools!!!!!:bawl:

Had another great weekend in the desert. I really like the feel of the new cage work. It just feels more secure. Not sure if it's the taller roof or the
side panels. Speaking of side panels, I need to learn to drive again. At least I made it to the second day before killing one side. Didn't even have time to paint it. Once your use to just dragging the cage along rocks, it's hard to go back.

Next up is all new shocks for the race. If anybody is looking for a set of 2.5"
fox airs 12" long let me know. Also my 2.0" X16" long fox coilover's with resivors are on the chopping block.

Did some work this weekend. A couple of trips ago the rear yoke let loose.
My buddy Andy got out the welder for a nice trail fix. It has held up great since. Thankfully JE REEL drivelines is hooking us up with new driveshafts for the race. Now was the time to go to a larger 1350 joint in the rear. This new Strange yoke has the extra beef.

In preparation for the new shocks all the bump mounts needed to get cut off.
It felt good to cut stuff off again. seems like lately I have just been adding. I was going to save all the pieces to weigh but lost interest.
Three of the mounts are gone. I can still taste metal. Thank God for flap disks. All the shocks and bumps are sold. Just have the tires and wheels left.
Hopefully the shocks will be ready to pick up Friday. :grinpimp:

I'm no mechanic... but can you tell me what you use the soccerball for? I'm trying to imagine a practical use for it. I'm down with the sawzall... just don't see where the balls fit in!

Thats how my kids put stuff away. Just leave it on the floor. You would think they could put in the blue tubs like they are supposed to. This pisses me off to no end.

the new maxxis tires are super soft. Really looking forward to running these.

The new shocks are done and get picked up from KING tomorrow. Can't wait to get them on and tested. KING is going to go out with us to get them dialed in. We really have Paul's 2.5 fox's working well. So I can't wait to see what the 2.5" triple-bypass remote reservior air's can do.

If you want to do a slightly better paint job than rattle can, we can take the panels over to the school. They've done quite a few Redbull buggie paint jobs. :) Could have them in and out in a day. Oh, does this mean mike has to paint his doors yellow now?

it into rocks.
