Gear installation "tricks"

Any one read this book yet? I need to put some 3.55's in my 5 speed this summer and thought this could be good research.

you are going to buy 3.55 gears and install them in your jeep?

why not just find axles with 3.55's already in them. could probably have them for under $200 for the set and it would be much much cheaper and easier.
