While wheeling in the rocks today i had a sudden loss of power, jeep hesitated like i shut it off, all my gauges pegged all over the place back and forth and it shut down. Noticed my battery terminal was grounding out on my hood, fixed it.
kept wheeling then all the sudden my aux fan stopped working and it started doing the gauge freakout shutdown thing again. The problem comes and goes as i drive over big bumps, that is the only thing consistent. I still have power after it shuts down too, it just cranks, if it starts it barely runs and then dies. I suspect im grounding out somewhere, or that i fried my computer when my battery arced on my hood?
Anyone ever experienced this? Weird thing is when i pulled it off the trailer tonight and parked it, it ran perfectly normal no issues what so ever...
