Just wanted all of you turds to know that my summer has officially started. Last day was Friday. I'm currently sitting on the deck in the warm sun, dipping good java, and surfin'. Trying to figure out how to best spend my time today. Fishing? Listening to good music on the iPod? Sippin' whiskey?

My summer starts in a week. We hit Substantial after our 5 day burn inn of the FA system, and then I am off to Breckenridge for a week.

We've got a condo for a week with another couple.

We plan to do some hiking, fishing, the Alpine Slide, riding, maybe even a Jeep rental to hit some trails.

Breck has got to be my absolute fav spot in CO...I love it.

My summer's just going to be friggin' hot:exclamati Think of a poor SOB slogging through the SE Texas woods on 98* 75% RH sunny summer afernoon while you're casting over some beautiful mountain stream. To top off this particular line of thought: I was going through storage the other day and found that my fly rod had been broken at some time. I don't know when - I haven't used it in over 5 years.
