Full hydro or hydro assist??

is this the orbital valve? this one is $400, there has to be more out there cheaper, eh?

when I do a search for 'orbital', I get nothing. what else is this called?

EDIT: this can't be it.

dude, you need to do some readin....

what I am about to say is intended to be helpful to the utmost........

honestly, don't mistake the tone but......

get over to por and do word searches, and read posts by "station"

I run a single ended ram and it works just fine. I got my ram from Northern Tool. But any fleet supply and farm supply should sell them. A 2x8 inch ram works good.

I like my dual, but really, a single will definitly work just fine for you too....

I don't think the pro cons between running one or the other make for a clear decision....

I am using a 9.7 orbital valve, which is a FLOW HOG! and I'm still running the stock ps pump, and i haven't even done the flow restrictor mod yet.....

I don't need to.

fore, check out surpluscenter.com........

Beezil- How did you solve the aux. reservior issue? I'm getting ready to order some hydro goodies, and had planned on swapping to the Howe TC pump and reservior/cooler/filter. I'd like to keep the stock pump if I could figure out how to incorporate it and a larger res./cooler/filter.

Thanks,
-Jon

Certainly no offense taken, I have been doing some reading and have learned alot from yesterday, and I'm sure I'll learn more today.

well back to PBB.

I'd love to stay on your ass, but "someone" may try to use it as ammo against you in the future. GIVE ME DA PICS!

Also think about how steeriung with full hydro will be if your rig isn't ruinng...

We had Wills Scrambler die on Mt Mayhem and getting it out was a huge chore because it wasn't running....no steering.

Good point...something to think about. We had to dead pull a rig back down a rocky trail two weeks ago because it would not run. After messing with everything on it for two hours we figured the computer may have gone out. Full hydro would have made recovery impossible, and he was a long ways from home.

OK, Beez, say it isn't so, but to casually go to hydro because it's cool is not a good idea in my book. All aspects should be considered.

As far as being easy, or much more capable, I thought we do this stuff because it's challenging, which implies a degree of difficulty? "Hey guys, let's go for a Sunday drive down a tough trail and then go have some pizza! Then we can sit at our computer the rest of the day and post pics of our cool rigs....should be a fun day."

you can still steer deadstick with the RIGHT orbital valve.

if you choose an orbital valve that can't steer dead, thats your own fault.

Argggg!!! I finally get some pics, and the firewall at work won't let me see them. What kind of porno site do you host from????
