Can I buy an aftermarket fuel filter that can give less restriction? I do not want to compromise filtering though?

First,what year and motor.
Why do you think your filter is restricting anything,the sysyem operates under 40 +psi and the filter is what it goes thru first.
The 97s and up don,t even have an externel filter.
