hey guys, i have a 98 and i put a skyjacker 3 in lift on it. it came with extended trailing arms and longer coils and a traction bar relocation bracket. thats all. well now whenever i turn hard right, a clunk sounds like its coming from the front right, about where the cross tie rod and sterring rod meet. has anyone had this problem with this lift. sounds pretty bad so i wondered if anyone knew what it was or could be. thanks for the help.

keep on wheelin'

I have that lift too. Get rid of the trac-bar relocation bracket. Just drill a new hole to center the axle (axle-end mount) or get an adjustable trac-bar. Check to see if the back side of your tire is hitting your lower control arm when turning hard right.

mine did that until i put the relocation bracket on. then it magically stopped :D

Check the trackbar(axle end) bushing sleeve to bolt clearance, alot of the aftermarket bushings are sized for American hardware,a 7/16" bolt worked for mine!
