Ok I have a strange problem that is really starting to annoy me. I had work done on my front axle, 4.56 gears, and a detroit trutrack. Since then I have not been able to get into 4wd. It shifts into low range and "feels" like it is in 4wd but no power is applied to the front axle (rears will spin but the front stays still). I have tried to take the rear driveshaft off and put it into 4wd to see if it would move with just the front driveshaft connected and I don't go anywhere! I swapped out my transfer case and still have the same problem, so I think I have isolated the problem to the front diff.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be the problem? Anyone have some troublshooting tips I could do to narrow down the problem? I opened up the front diff and there arent any broken pieces in there and when I'm driving I don't hear any grinding or anything in the front end, just no power to the front axle in 4wd! Pleas give me some ideas! Thanks!
