Well my fuel pump just died today and left me stranded on i5 outside winters in a hundred degrees. All three kids and my wife and myself got to sit in the sun and bake for two hours. Quite humiliating. My wife doesn't really like my jeep anyway but her van had a flat.
Thought it was the CPS cause the harness was a bit melted so I got it towed to Colusa as they had a replacement at the vatozone there but it was a no go.
Pump cycles with the key in the on position but no pressure at the shrader valve. ****ing sucks. So now I'm sitting in round table waiting for yet another tow truck to head back the 85 miles to my house.
Rant ended.
So what's the work on fuel pumps. I changed mine before I put my tank skid on. That was only two years and maybe 7000 miles ago. What gives. I don't want this to happen again.
