fordyce closing down ??!!

was told today by a friend that a "Pirate member" said that fordyce is closing down this year for logging purposes.........Does anyone know about this?
I thik it's :bs: but you never know

Negative. No closure pending. I just talked to the USFS last week about the Rubicon run, and all was just fine.

There will be a lot of logging going on around there for the next few years. I used to work about 10 min. from the trailhead at Fordyce. PG&E sold off a bunch of logging rights on their land a couple of years ago. The last summer I was up there, they had started some big helicopter logging opperations.
