Okay here's the specs 95 Ford Thunderbird with the 4.6 V8

Been running okay other than I know a sensor is out but nothing tooo bad...Friday drove about hour and half stopped for about an hour then it would not stay running in park when cranked. Got it going but still stalling when trying to restart in park...

Then it starts stalling out when you slow down...very fun 4 hour drive home Sat with the car stalling at every stop...got real good at starting in N and reving it and then putting in drive to go...It is also now running real rich some black smoke when at a stop...not sure about when going down the road can't see anything...

SO anyone got an idea about what sensor might be doing this I have replaced the air flow and the one on the top back of the motor next to the firewall...(can't remember right off which on that was) about 3 months ago

Throttle position sensor? I think that is a common problem with mid 90's Fords.

TPS on the 4.6 doesn't seem to be a problem like the old 5.0/5.8 ones, but you never know!

I'm thinking your mass air flow sensor is out again. Is the "service engine" light on? IIRC, you can unplug the MAF sensor and start the engine ( puts the computer in failure mode ) and see if it runs better.
