that's a little harsh, I've had female roommates I got along fine with (and I wasn't doing them or going out with them, either.) It's just tough to find ways to argue for something rational because doing something the normal way just makes sense to me, but is a completely foreign concept to her. For instance we nearly had our power shut off last month because she had run out of stamps, she asked me if I had any, I said I didn't and didn't have time to get to the post office (I've been doing ~60 hour weeks for a while now at work), she stood there staring at me like she expected me to magically change that, then placed the envelope on the table outside my door and walked away. I really don't have time to get to the post office right now, I wasn't kidding. She likes to play the "if I ignore the problem and pretend someone else is handling it, it will go away eventually" game, even though she could have simply brought the envelope up to the post office on campus between classes and mailed it... or used the electric company's electronic payment system. I suggested both of these ideas and she just stared at me, apparently those don't make sense to her or something. I handle the bills I'm responsible for via e-pay, haven't seen anything except "thank you for paying your bill" emails in months and have not lifted a finger to do it.
:dunno:
