Just got back from our Snow Patrol duty for Cal4Wheel. I saw a few of you passing our checkpoint. Thought I'd post some pics...

Those are four sweet rigs. I hope you all had a good time in the fresh powder. I ended up pulling a build Toyota out of the deep stuff with my winch. Gotta love that!

And here's a pic of me to prove I was actually there.

Great Run!!! Unfortunately I didn't get home 'till midnight and my tow rig arrived promptly at 3:30 a.m. Just goes to show even the big trucks are subject to the unit bearing total failure! I can see if I still have a photobucket account and put the few pictures I took up. Thanks again Josh, Jon, Steve, Billy and Sarah! Good times.

Ya. It happened right before I got onto 80. I tore down my whole hub in the Valero truck stop across the street from Eppie's. Just one of those things. Luckily I have good friends who owe me. The great day wheeling more than made up for any negative tailings on the day!

The weather was beautiful, and the trail was crowded!

The crowd was not really that bad. Most other times I have been it was a lot worse. I thought it was going to be horrible judging from how many rigs were going by while we were airing down.

We also did not make it that far. Even the "hard pack" was pretty soft.
