Finally Rock Rails for the XJ

Well about 8 months ago I built the bumpers for my XJ and started on the Rock Rails. School got in the way after I finished the bumpers so the Rock Rails never got finished. Over the weekend I finally got to finish them. Here are the pics.

What kind of tube bender did you use?

I am not sure of the brand, it is an oooold bender. My friend got it from a guy who used it along time ago, I think he said the guy used it to build some sprint cars.

Looking good. May want to add in come more bars between the main bar and the outer. Other than that looks tough.

Actually we were gonna add either 2 pieces of tubing, or some flat plate in there. But we tried it with just one and it really stiffened it up, plus it kinda keeps the theme with the rear bumper.
