Factory skids?

Does anyone know if factory skids are still available from Mopar? Does anyone have any part #'s for factory skids, such as gas tank skid? Thanks, NICK

I'm sure you thought of this, but why not go to your local Upull? That's what I did. Found a Upcountry model and got the skids for gas tank and t-case cheap.
I doubt you can get them new, plus they would be pricey.

Chrysler cleared out the inventory at firesale prices over a year ago. I picked up a gas tank skid plate for $7 and a front for $12, but they are now long gone. Some people had the foresight to purchase in bulk and resell through online auctions but I think most of them have run out by now too.

Yeah, hit the junkyard first- I got a gas tank skid AND a 2" receiver hitch for $45. Also do a search for "Cherokee skid" on eBay- occasionally you find some good deals...
