I know your in Chicago, But, I got my Hi-Lift at Farm & Fleet. I good place to get a lot of 4X4 stuff. D-rings, TOW STRAPS, electrical switches,
A good place to put together a shopping list.

I keep hearing that they (Farm & Fleet) have good prices on Hi-Lifts...
nearest one to me is all the way up in Woodstock

I know they also have one in Montgomery. near Aurora.
If you want one I can pick it up for you. bring it to Winterfest. But, you'll need to have a way to tie it down.

Do I have to have a spare tire mounted on my xj, I dont have room to mount a 36 inside and I dont want the weight on the roof. I normally leave it in the tow rig.

To pass inspection, it must have the spare on it during inpection.
