It's good to know that we have people who are wanting to hold a BOD position and lead this club forward.

Anyway, if Ed needs/wants to step down, id be happy to do what I can. I know I can count on Ed, Mark and Glenn to act as a guide to whoever decides to take over the reigns.

Ed, Mark and Glenn you guys have done a lot for the SEC and brought it to where it is today. You guys rock. I look forward to seeing you guys every year, not just coming down to wheel with y'all. There are so many guys I can think of to replace you and I hope that a couple of them do. Its you guys that keep me coming back every year and I will continue to do so! The Crawl was held at Tellico at first. When it was closed, actually before, we looked at other venues and even put it at a couple in the SEC but they do not have the required facilities this event needs IMHO. Harlan has everything Tellico had and even more to some extent. We were encouraged to set a location and leave it there.... so that is what we did.

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to current BOD and the members of the SEC for supporting the on going efforts to maintain and keep our public trails at the Uwharrie National Forest open. I look forward to working with whom ever ends up on the BOD and everyone in the future.

I fully concur with anyone who said that the current BOD has done an amazingly great job of making the SEC chapter super awesome. Without them stepping up to the plate, the SEC would have devolved into the MWC

Ed, I know its been sometime since I been at your house but I wanted to say I think your doing a great job as well as the others I have not met.
I would like to get more involved this year but hope to be off for basic training (USCG reserve) around springtime if all goes well.
