I told you guys last winter he wouldn't last! A guy like this always burns his bridges. Now he's to blame for the USFS having egg on their face. How professionally embarassing, lol. I saw this guy last winter at the Chili cook off, oh boy, we've got a live one! Mr. "Tactical" as we called him that day. He had the vest, etc...

Well I say to all those people who complained and contacted the Eldo Sheriff, way to go. Great job.

I thanked him on his FB page and hope to get some stickers to show my support. His next election isn't for a year, so he may not have any yet. If not, I'm going to have some, "I support Sheriff John D'Agostini" stickers made. I'll post here when I get them in case anybody wants some.

I'm so glad I live in El Dorado County now. People don't realize how big an impact the County Sheriff can make on your life.

So what kind of power do the forest service guys like officer Marcus have now that this happened?

I'm probably wrong, but my take is that the FS officers will only be enforcing the rules and regulations on FS land. Maybe?? Where before they were enforcing FS rules and regulations and state laws anywhere and everywhere in the county. I can recall officer marcus setting up speed traps on hwy 50 just above Kyburz. Handing out tickets all day long....I think he wont be doing stuff like that anymore.

Man that guy kicks ass. Them FS guys are kinda d's meet a few "cool" ones but those guys mostly rolled up with a major additude. "Mr tactical" explained alot of them. i used to live in placerville and frequent ice house and grizzley flats, off in the sticks. Ya we were kids and often dicken around drinking but shit its what we(and probably THEY) did. We never caused trouble or anything but they'ed always roll up with a stick up there HI!'s and give us all kinds of bs.
