So I had my Beretta M9 AFCQ today. Man, talk about a bad day to shoot. Open air range, was freakin' 20º out there. I was bummed out after we qualified though. I was two body shots short of expert. They require 6 head shots and 25 body shots for that honor. I knew I was screwed at the end. When we went to move our targets from 15 yards, to 25 yards I started counting my hits. We only had 6 shots left to finish off the round, and I had 6 headshots and 19 body shots. That means I need to hit all 6 body shots at 25 yards, keep in mind I've never shot a handgun in my life. I only managed 4. You needed 35 out of 45 hits anywhere on the target. Which was great for some people as they couldn't hit the circles for shit. But I was goin' for that expert man. Had a Captain next to me that should have failed miserably. His shit was all over the place. I imagine I would have enjoyed it much more when it was 60º and sunny yesterday though................:sunshine:
