wish i could have made it... been busy with the new job.

Just walked in the door a few minutes ago. I had a great time seeing everybody this weekend and helping Ed out. You've done a tremendous amount for the SEC Ed, and i'm glad to have had the opportunity to give back to you. Thank you for letting us use your shop and space!

Big thanks to Doug and Sam for their hospitality this weekend and for showing me some of the sights of Knoxville. Any time ya'll are in Charlotte (or just want to get away for a weekend), you've got a place here!

Glad you got some help Ed and got some things taken care of.... Hope those spacers work well for you. Glad you got the tail light I broke fixed too! ;) Some day I'm going to come up there and hangh out for a weekend.

Man those gold honeycomb wheels are pretty stylin', huh? They are gold under all that Harlan dirt.

I had a great time and it was good to see everyone. My Jeep drives much better with the new steering box. Thanks to everyone for making this happen.

Tim, I saw you doing work so I know the truth....

Sorry I couldn't make it up guys. Between my dogs funeral/burial & a few other errands it just wasn't feasible.

Ed, the jeep looks much better! Since I couldn't be there to lend a hand, I'd like to at least say thank you for all that you've done as the SEC president!

And we have pictures to prove it! Supposedly....

Man, Wish I could have made it! Ed, looking a little more slender there buddy!

Tyler.......Sorry to hear about your Dog. You can really get attached to them.

I know you wanted to be here Tyler but having to go get the steel to build me a bumper/swingaway tire carrier will get you off the hook! Hehehe.

Ed, thanks for everything you and your family have done for us and the SEC! I'm glad I was able to spend the afternoon helping you guys out... I had a little voice tell me to grab my HVAC tools, and I'm glad I did. Hopefully the cleaning and "check up" on your home's A/C unit will last you for a few more seasons... I was looking forward to helping do the rear 1/4 cut & fold, but with all the work being done, it was too crowded to do... Next time though!

And I enjoyed seeing everyone too! Looking forward to the Flog coming up...

I can't wait for the Flog. It will be a fun time for sure.

Thank you for the HVAC check-up. I sure feel much better now that you went over it with a fine tooth comb.

The cut and fold really needs to wait for the day when I can have a rear bumper built to provide the proper protection for the quarters.

Very true... Because you may still hit the 1/4 panel after its trimmed, and wont be able to "remove" anything; where as right now you have room to "crunch" without hurting much...

First let me start by saying thank you to everyone who took time today to come out and wrench on my rig. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. It is a great thing to have friends who are willing to help.

Dang it, I forgot all about this. I need to mark my calendar for now on as im always open to help where I can and learn from everyone.

If I get my barn closed in and get the motor swapped into my XJ before it gets too cold I hope to get out in it to events instead of my diesel.

You don't have to drive an XJ to be able to attend an event. I'm sure some seats are available plus the campfire is a fun time to hang around and shoot the bull.
