Easy to do doorless mod?

So iv seen and talked to people about cutting the door hinges so the doors just open and left out?

it seems easy enough but i'm a little worried that the doors might leak when i put them back on. Any ideas

what year is your jeep?

i cut the pins on my 2000 to take the doors off, after putting them back on, i havent had any leaks at all.

96's still have the old style hinges if I'm correct. I did it on my 92 and not only do they not leak, they sit and close correctly too.

Yeah... that was a fun day too. I bet you love driving with no doors... I liked it for about a week and then it got weird... Maybe ill take em off tomorrow all day. I had a way long day... First with a CV axle install... then with a 3-4 hour doorless mod project. FUN AS HELL. Let's cut our rear quarters soon...
