Dry Seal??

I installed my rear main seal about 3 weeks ago and I finally finshed putting the top end one, I have been to busy!!! So my question is all that oil that soaked into it has proably dripped off... Can I just like overfill oil by a a couple quarts and manually turn the crank to try to lube it back up?? Then just drain it back out...Or any other ideas??

I wouldent think it would be a problem. You could make a oil pump drive tool like a SB chevy uses thru the distributor shaft hole to prelube the entire motor if your worried.
