A couple of you may know that I have a minitruck also so this weekend we went to Dropzone in Salem. The best 3 day show in the NW. To sum it up, 3 days, lots of alcohol, lots of cruising, lots of partying, and most of all - lots of cool people. There were 560+ entered vehicles from as far away as AZ, Canada, Wyoming, Montanna, Idaho, etc. etc. We (Altered States) got lowest club and best campsite. One of our members got 3rd place closed bed street. Another member got 1st place SUV and Best of Show SUV/4x4 which was much deserved after 7 years of hard work.
This truck took 1st place under construction. Notice its right hand drive. This thing had something new every angle you looked at it. A work of art.
This thing had a wicked air setup. He could pull a near stand still 3 wheel with the rear bumper almost touching the ground and the lifted tire a couple feet off the ground.
My buddy James' 65 Lincoln Continental. He runs pressurize nitrogen, dual Viair 380c compressors, and a York engine driven compressor so he has 3 sources of air. They just tunneled the tranny/driveline to get it to lay out, custom trailing arm suspension in the rear, all hard air lines with 1 gallon holding tanks on each corner, and sittin on a new set of 20's. This car got a lot of good attention especially when he got the front to jump off the ground Saturday.
The one on the left is what won Best of show Suv and the one on the right is his daily driver. He just bought a crew cab ford that he is gonna bag and paint up the same as a tow rig for both next year.
So fresh and so clean. Notice the shaved firewall with the body line rolled into it. He has a twin turbo motor all built and ready to go in for show but ran out of time. This thing was still off the frame a month ago. Frame is all boxed, painted, and chrome.
My truck in all its primer goodness.
This thing was sick as hell. 4 door dually, Escalade front clip, Avalanche tails, one off wheels, full air, louder than shit stereo, and he was dragging it all weekend.
Big thanks to IF Customs for bringing her...
My buddy Ron's 2005 Frontier getting shot/filmed for Domination the Video and StreetSource Magazine.
The host of some show that ESPN was filming durring the weekend. Apparently we will see more of her in the November issue of Playboy. And there are quite a few more on my hard drive.
Yup, thanks again.
Our club (altered states) posing for a shot on Sunday before leaving. We are only missing one member. I'm gonna edit this pic down and crop it into a panoramic poster.
