Dodge nitro rear end

I was just under one and noticed it has a 8.25 and on coils. I measured 58.25" from backing plate to backing plate. I was wondering if I wanted to go coil in the rear that this would be a viable option?

It makes no difference since you will be buying or fabbing all new mounts for everything anyway! The hard part is the body side.

if you wanted to go coil it wouldn't be a bad idea since the axle side would be done AND have disk brakes. I read somewhere that they are wider than an XJ 8.25 but im not 100% on that
