LOL! And that for twice the price of Autopals. Nice.

E-codes have a distinct cut off, putting more light on the road, less in oncoming traffic. Where DOT is just well.. like a big blob with very little focus.

That "made for an XJ" harness isn't made for an XJ either.
Is the other harness a must when changing to the autopals or another style light?
For later model XJs I'd put in a harness even if you plan to stay with OEM sealed beams. Renix era weren't as bad with the voltage drop but could still use a harness. I need to build one for both of my Jeeps, I plan to run 55w/100w in them, OEM wattage on low beams (don't need more light there really) with brighter brights.
You mean the later models are worse than Renix era? Renix era Jeeps were pretty bad. That's what I just installed the 3 harnesses on to.
I'd suggest making it yourself.so if I have a harness out of say an 88 it would be better on either of my 93 or 00 XJ's rather than stock. And if I was to make a harness what material do I need for such thing cause the price on some of those that were mentioned are a little costly
where can you get it for 20 cause all the ones I've looked at on this thread are 55 and up
I got the pre-made harness with relays from www.eautoworks.com. It's the one listed for the H4s.

 Probably also find them on ebay- that's where mine came from, although the guy I bought mine from has taken the listing down.
