Did Beezil Get his rig together?

No Sean I do not, I did not want any problems with you at all, I had considered you a friend up until now.

Perhaps much is lost amongst otherwise good people on this medium.

Just remember I never attacked you, until you provoked me on what was already a bad day. Your comments were very uncalled for. I am not the type to sit idle while others insult me, unprovoked no less, and all I have worked for so hard.

xj guy....

I think the problem is that you think "offroad credibility" is something that can be as easily obtained as a rear hatch sticker, or something you can place in an on-line shopping cart.

It has to be EARNED, not slapped on. Everything you've done since you set your canyon carver aside reads as arrogance.

the fact that you've tried to short cut the process of "becoming a big dog" (as it were) by both starting an aftermarket products company and building an huge XJ that has yet to be tested has left people baffled.

If you're confused as to why folks are giving you a hard time, here's why. Your out-spoken web presence adds to it.

I tried to get you to stay at 6"....actually, 4.5" is where you should have started, and gotten some seat time along with a group of naxja folks who know how to wheel. You would have learned a ton. You would have learned why certain things you tried building for your 8" rig wouldn't have worked before you started building them.......simply put, you need to get your ass in your rig and start learning how to drive.....establish your credibility on trail, not on the forums. the success of your eventual company depends on just that

I am a perfect example of that.

6" 35's ARB's front and rear.

Been wheelin for a couple years.....

.... and I still suck at wheelin. Building the rig was the easy part. I should still be on 32's and no lockers and learning.

I'm trying to be a good driver...

Almost three years on 3" and 235's :) (And yes, I'm anxiously waiting for the money for the next step, planned 4.5" - 5.5" and 32's)

Rich,

B has a lot of good points he has made. Getting out and DOING is a big deal. You can't just web wheel for ever and not get out and DO. B is one who web wheels great but can also get out from his city and DO some great wheeling. Maybe if you stop with this type of crap:

dsc00095.jpg

Your credibility wouldn't be so bad. I mean you asked me if I liked you ar not in another thread where I was getting you to realize how stupid it was to give B crap for a roll when you weren't there to know what was going on. I can't answer it I've never meet you, I was hoping to in Moab, but you were a no show. So as you start to talk shit about things you weren't invovled in as if you were, you going to get alot of shit back real fast.

Now that YOU'VE brought your company crap out in public, I have a businessman question for you. You are really invovled in the org. and have been for some time invovled with getting a company going and have the all time greatest event going to happen with a 100+ XJs showing up, (ends up being 160) your product is solely for XJs, and you don't show up. WHY? Is the company for real? Alot of people have been waiting for this role cage and you don't show it off, WHY?

Now, I ask this above for you to explain a little to hopefully show why all the talk and nothing to show for it. This seems to be the key to why everyone that has come down on you about the BS. I think the no-show kind of was the last straw in beleiving anything you have to say is real.

Hope this isn't to blunt for you as a NYer as you said earlier and some might say I'm not the right person to ask it but as all who get to know me I am very much a member here way before I'm a sponsor type. I'm just lucky I can help the org out thru the business.

So reality check..... What's the shit?

GSequoia,

Maybe you and Dave can grow some balls for the Moab off camber together. :D

Just some crap Dave, I was in the same boat you're in now along time ago. It just takes time to learn and know what you and your rig can and can not do. I'm still known to be the most puckered one of my long time wheeling buds, just ask JKS Jim about it. :D

Is this like Double mint gum, two threads in one?

Some of my driving skills shown off last week should have had me back on a tri cycle. Good thing I made that tie rod heavy, I kept using it as a speed bump feeler.

I'm still not die hard enough to not be constantly worried about laying it over. Diapers anyone. :D (gotta chage the mood of the tread somehow)

Phat, have you been to the trail out south called gatekeeper? Were talking about a trip in the next month or so.

I know what you mean by off-camber..that's always messed with me too. I'm hoping that when I do my bit of work it'll be a little better, I'll feel better about it at least!

Hell, at the least I gotta test them SuperNerfs, in Moab all I managed to do was kiss my TC skid and caress my exaust (What's up with my love affair with crushing my exaust anyway?!)

It will probably be just a few of us. I don't handle large groups vefy well. Seeing a bullsh**ing with these jokers above is the main reason I make it to Moab in October.

Were is Meat Grinder? If I get a chance I'm going to try and do a little scouting this weekend. Bird season is upon us, but the snakes haven't gone into hiding yet.

Mark, thats more like it.

Yes the biz is real, yes the products are here. But I have had difficulites on many fronts, as well as several improvements which have further delayed things.

Reveal them before they are ready to ship? What for, so an established company can knock me off before I even get one kit in the box..nah I dont like to shoot my own foot. Mark I even contacted you to have things made for me.

As far as the decal goes....a Hummer weighs what? 6k lbs+ or more? Towing capacity of an XJ is 5k lbs....its not even safe to extract a Hummer with an XJ ...it was humor, I suppose the guys who have, "If You Can Read This Roll me Over" sticker is literally what they mean when they are bleeding from the mouth and unconscious?

Did things not go so good in Moab, were there problems? It seems everyone was much more cheery before the event. Here I am the poor sap that could not get his junk together in time, sitting awaiting his XJ pals to return only to find them up in arms, with XJguy as the target. Serves me right I guess, get my shit ready on time next time.

All I'm gonna say on the PUV thing is: Never pipmp a product unless you've got it in hand. Rich, I asked about cages a YEAR ago. They were almost ready. At the time, I was long on cash, and short on time. I was ready to buy a chromo version right then and there. All I needed to see were some pics, maybe even a description of how the system worked. Nothing was forthcoming. I have never seen a PUV cage, do they exist?

I decided to wheel this year without a cage and put one in my new rig, so I bought my own bender. In two weekends of bending, the thing is damned near ready, and it's a real innovative design at that.

The guys that are slapping you around a bit right now just want some answers. Are you for real? Your business is starting to sound as fictitious as U.R. Fuked Racing, and U.R.F. has actually produced a product!

My advice (for what it's worth): Get your shit DONE, even if it's not "perfect", sell a cage to a big dog type on this board (preferably a member of the West Coast Gettin' It Crew :D ) and let him test if for you. It ain't gettin tested in the driveway in Queens, New York, I can tell you that.

Respect is earned on the internet by actually getting OFF the internet and wheeling your junk, or at least having someone else wheel the products you build.

Meat grinder is right up near Carnage Canyon, but on the left of the main road. I'm talking about up in the Owyhee's. You and I discussed some pictures that we had both posted a while back..... that was the Carnage run.

Small groups, for sure. Just round up Dave G., Mark (4Runner), and JP and we'll hit it up.

Crash, I know, you are not the only one. If I was some shady character I would have sold you the cage. But I am not, and you are a member of my club and we have "known" each other for a long time. First I had to take care of legal issues then there were bigger problems. Truth is, I found drastic problems with the first batch, they simply did not fit. It has since been corrected. But I have added new features, this in turn has delayed things further. It is unfortunate for me and anyone who has waited that some of the people who are working for me have not performed the level of work which I expect, as such I have not released anything and am paying for it in more ways than you can imagine. As far as pictures, I am not afraid that you would have knocked off my design and gone into production or anyhting like that, so please dont misread this, but one person shares the pic with another and so on.

Now dont get me wrong (I can hear the bashing already)I did not design a damned space ship or a time machine, its just a roll cage, a good roll cage, one that is unlike what I have seen thus far, but in a good way, difficiencies many point out on other's cages are not found here. Early on I used to give high detail of my design, even shared some prototype pics with a select few, but I soon realized that I was just making competitor's jobs easy after having busted my hump to bring about a good thing. As such I wish to protect my intellectual properites up until I can supply the demand. My sincerest appologies for not having produced in time for your project. I hope your own creation is all that you want it to be and more.

Here is a story for ya:
The first guy to start making white gauges for XJ contacted me about my older Jeep, we then started talking about the white gauges he had just started to make and was thinking of selling...I thought his design and use of materials were far from ideal, so I casually mentioned to him how I would do it...wouldnt you know he did what I mentioned to a T, and started a whole biz, never gave me a hi or thanks, so I keep my trap shut.

E-mail me. I guess we had better not screw up the URFR thread.

I was told Gatekeeper was at that pull out a little farther up the road from the exit of carnage. I know the area, but not the names.

Beezil, with that attitude I wouldn't sell anything to you either (If I made something). You would probably just break it and ruin a good company's name. With a name like U.R. Fuked Racing it has to be good. Wasn't it Bud quenched also?

Someone needs to start a company called "The Shit".
