Detroit TrueTrac

Whats his name on the forum? And ok cool cool thanks so much for the advice guys! Saved me money and sped up my build :)

A word of caution, you will need spare axle shafts if you are installing a locker. Alloy shafts are great since you can upgrade and keep your old shafts as spares. Stock spares are cheap and easy to come by for the short term until you can swing the alloys. Either way, carry spare shafts and the tools to swap them out.

x3..
the Spartan does come with a new hardened cross pin as well. I don't think I'll be selling mine as I can't afford a full case atm. But I've broke everything you can inside a 30 now. Locker is still in perfect shape. Spartan was insanely easy to install. Took an hr all together. I haven't installed any other in a 30 so I can't speak for auusie or of the like.

I ran a LP dana 30 with a lock right on 35" pro comp Mts through the rubicon on stock shafts and most of the trails up hwy 4, and some other ones here and there the year I had a LP30 with a lock right as a temporary axle. just take it easy on the thing and you ll be fine and you will never break. that being said, once you lock a d30, always carry spares you just never know...

Bryan Nailed it.

Honestly with that setup, you will be very well setup for wheeling everything in the northern sierras and then some. that would be a rocking setup.

Lokka is doing their d30 locker for like 199$ (no cross pin so go with spartan if you can but spartan are more cause they include the cross pin ) . for under 600$ your 30 would be quite stout.

Wow that's a great deal on chromos. The locker not so much off. I got mine for 245$ with a Yukon kozie haha.

Lokka is a good buy idk how easy install is but I'd imagine just the same. Like he said u basically get a spare cross pin. Which came in handy when I broke mine.

Did you see this? Spartan + alloys on special.
