Detroit Locker for 12 Bolt

Posting this for a friend. This is a Detroit locker for a GM 12 bolt. 33 Spline. This was not used off-road, but was in friend's Camaro street rod. Here are the specs as he told me:

Summit price on this is $659 new.

This has very little usage.

I'll let it go for $400 plus shipping from Sacramento, CA

Not in the market for either but I am confused. Is this for 12 bolt or 14 bolt gm? Or does it work in both???

Sorry, I've had 14 bolt on the brain. This is for a 12 bolt. I forgot to edit the title. Thanks for catching it.
