Exactly what the title says. Box label reads as follows:
EZ812A025
M35 EZ LOCKER (1.560" HUB)

The teeth are in great shape, it's clean and ready to go in your rig. I have another one like it in my Jeep and it works great - 100% positive traction. It comes with brand new springs and pins. New these are about $250.

$100 + shipping. I live in Ogden, UTAH 84414, near Salt Lake City.

Here's the manufacturer website for it...
http://www.tractech.com/Products.htm#locking
And a PDF ad for it...

Just post here and it will email me automatically.

Thanks, Jared :patriot:

Silly question... What year was the rear end this came out of? I believe its a Dana 35 in my XJ, but not sure about the c-clip

I looked at the web-page. I believe i have the 35 non C-clip, (PN 812a020). But by their application guide, your part number is with ABS. If it will fit the non c-clip axle in my 88 XJ, please consider it sold. You can e-mail be direct ([email protected]) Looking forward to your reply!

It won't fit the earlier models (before '94 IIRC).

I had the fun experience of getting the wrong one and spending 2 hours trying to install it. :flamemad:

The side gear diameter on the earlier models is slightly larger. The Trac-Tech website is partially correct in that the later models are ABS carriers. What they don't tell you is they are ALL ABS carriers after about '94. The ABS comment on the earlier models is also erroneous. It doesn't matter what you have, ABS vs. non-ABS, c-clip vs. non c-clip, the 812A020 should fit.

I have never installed this locker. I bought it for a buddy, who turned out to have a Chrysler 8.25 rear. I thought the D35 carrier change was 93+ for the ABS housing, but maybe it is 94. This is a c-clip locker. Sorry SPSERG.

It should fit any XJ/YJ/ZJ/TJ that is 94 or newer, possibly 93 or newer.

To clarify - This should fit ANY C-CLIP DANA 35 with ABS, or ANY DANA 35 AT ALL after 93 or 94.

Price is now $100 shipped to the 48 states. Retail is $250 + shipping or sales tax. That's 60% off retail plus no sales tax and no shipping.

Imagine yourself cruising effortlessly up the toughest trails for only $100 - chicks would dig you!* Your boss will promote you!* Your grass will grow greener!* Your Jeep will get TRIPLE the fuel economy!*

(*Individual results may vary.)

Just to clarify, and to possibly prevent someone from being irritated with you, the 812A025 will NOT fit all ABS D35 carriers. It will only fit the late model ABS carriers. I purchased this same locker and spent hours trying to get it installed. Finally, in desperation, we called Trac-Tech and they indicated they had made an error on their website. Unfortunately, they haven't corrected it.

I recently installed one in my non ABS carrier and pre-fit it in my ABS carrier to verify fitment. It works in both models. The difference between the early models and the newer ones, that yours should fit, is the diameter of the side gear where it sits in the carrier. Yours will be slightly smaller, making it too small for the early carriers.

As a suggestion, try posting this for sale on Jeeps Unlimited on the TJ board. Those guys eat this stuff up.

I don't want to belabor the point, but it was really frustrating getting the wrong one. Hopefully you can spare someone the same frustration.

John, thank you for the info. Apparently this fits Dana 35's after 93 or 94, regardless of ABS "equippedness".

Thanks John

if it does, how can we seal the deal?

Yes, it should work for your rig. Sealing this deal is easy. PM me your address and email, and I will do the same to you. You mail a check for $100, I'll mail a locker. Simple as that. You have a PM.
