Before I installed my lift (4.5 RC AAL) the front tires would shake at about 40mph. After I installed the lift same thing. I changed the wheels and tires still the same thing. I sort of fixed the problem I moved the wheels out so they werent straight and it drove ok. I took it to the shop and they did a alinement on it they said it was out by 3 inches. After that it drove fine up to 40 mph againg so when i got home i backed them off again drives ok. when i hit a bump the whole front end starts to violently shake again and then stops. Im thinking that im going to replace all tie rod ends ,drop pitman arm, and ball joints. Dose that sound right? Its a 89 aw4 4.0 242. I"d like to upgrade is there is a direct replacement. As everybody money is tight. maybe pap?

Thanks

You dont realize how much you actually like the death wobble till its gone.....
I sold me 99xj for financial reasons and now even in my work truck i tense up at around 45mph preparing to scare the hell out of all the drivers around me...
man those were the days...
Make sure your track bar and dag link are as close to parallel with each other as possible. I built a new bracket for mine on the passenger side and it seamed to help.... but didnt eliminate it...
I was told it was due to my tires...

i have a 1990 xj now and the guy i bought it from said beware of death wobble... got a set of 33's for it and i have never had it do it to me..

doubt any of that helps... but i hope it does
