I live in the O.C. so I'm normally in the So.Cal. section, but since you guys & gals are even closer than we are I thought I would put a croos reference here.

I don't think we are "closer" but it sounds like a fun trip. Would love to make it, but that's robotics season for me, and i'm working every weekend..

I have always wanted to do this type (desert) of wheeling more than I have. I am very use to high sierra/alpine lakes/rocky trails type wheeling but have done very little in this type of terrain. My only real exposure is with my Unimog attending Kai Serrano's "Mogfest" at Calico. I would like to join you but I won't know up until almost a week before due to varied work loads in my industry...the auto industry. I'm in the SF Bay Area but would gladly come down to explore...although quickly...this area.

My "normal" terrain...
