This is a annual local VW, Audi event they hold in the Springs every year. It's called Dubs Along The Rockies. I know some of you used to be in that scene, and some of you still are. So I figured there would be a few people that'd appreciate this. And Chris, look real hard at the pics, your next "car" might be in there somewhere...................

I was event staff, so I worked the registration tent for a good part of the day. Afterwards I was a judge for all of the Audi classes. Had a good time, caught a wicked sunburn, and won a $600 chip for my car in the raffle. Was a pretty good day. Most all of the local Vendors/Euro Tuner Shops show up. We had one Tuner come out from Texas, and Volkswagen Of America was there as well.

At my school

When was this? Today? I saw some audi's driving back towards Denver and it made me look twice. Sweet looking rides.

Yeah, it was today. I was there from about 7am - 2pm. And it was still goin' strong when I took off. I think they were trying to wrap it up though. There were some nasty clouds coming over the mountain.

I raced my bike in Denver this morning and saw tons of VW's and Audi's coming down 25. Really wish I would have known about this...looks fun.

Looks like there was some killer Vans. I love the new cars but I'm a huge sucker for anything in the Mk2 variety. The primered one with single headlight conversion and big bumpers is tasty.

I'm also a big fan of the B4 and B5 Audis. The 90 rally car looks smart.

That Porsche belonged to Genoa Motorsports. They had that, a B7 S4 Cabriolet, B7 RS4, the W12, and they brought their cup car as well. This thing is freakin' loud, you need ear protection just to stand next to it. They couldn't show off the engine much though as these things are air cooled.

I was planning on taking both S's down but couldn't make it on account of the DNC. My unit got sent down last Friday for riot control operations, we just got back yesterday. Had to stay at Johnson & Wales University.
