By all means, do it. Disc brakes are easy. I can share how I did mine on the MJ D44.

And gears and possibly bearings. I think it's worth it though. I'll have to see what the bid is up to when I get home.

I'm all about disc brakes Lawn cher.
I couldn't allow drum brakes on a perfectly fine axle.
