Bump from the dead.
Before this was about welding, it was about the inner C
Anyone have dimensions? I have a knuckle that doesn't seem to be seating right on the ball joint, and my only guess is that the C is bent.
They're both still on the axle though, so I can't really compare them side by side.
On a center line with the ball joints, measured inside, one side is 7-3/8th the other's 7-5/16th. Sure it's only 1/16th off, but still...
Before I go trying to heat & beat anything, just seeing what anyone else's numbers might be. I don't want to make the wrong side wronger.
