your joking right?? knuckles are made of metal...they just dont wear out...they do break..what you mean is you need ball joints maybee??

unless it's like 90 or older, the caliper brackets are part of the outer knuckle. often times the pad will wear into the slider parts of the caliper brackets, warranting replacement of the whole freakin outer knuckle. that may be his issue.
