Yeah we'd just taken the Long Arms off Kens old rig (think I'm indecisive?!?!? Ken built an nice 95XJ on 7" of lift with a Clayton Long Arm kit...ran it one season...pulled it apart and started over on a TJ...)
Here's a pic of it...
So We winched it over on it's side and took the Clayton Xmember and Brackets by cutting around them with an Air chisel and Saw-zall... I was all pumped then so I drove over the RX-7...it had been left for dead years ago at Coreys so we had some fun.
Took the brackets back to our shop and cut the rest of the Jeep Unibody off them with the plasma and cleaned it all up with the grinder...into the sandblast cabinet and presto...good as new...
Now I just need to decide if I'm gonna put them on (look so nice all painted up and pretty) or build our own with an integrated Tranny/engine skid....
