well, the other one got deleted, probably due to low-traffic thread purging.
any way, this is the recently dubbed "Daisy" [shes got a wonderfull @$$; daisy duke]
this project started with a jeep that i picked up for 150 bucks [title and everything] the exhaust was shot [and im probably picking up a flowmaster muffler for it since the one i have for it is pretty old too..] and the battery was shot.
there was a hole in the hood from where the P.O. had to cut because he needed to jump it [the hood latch assembly was rust-frozen]. i fixed that in about two minutes after removing the fascia and the retaining assemblies.
the pics kind of speak for themselves, but its an '88 with the 4.0, auto, np231. dana 30 vac, dana 35 [:gonnablow ]. it started tan, then black, now white. and its getting 30x9.5s this week.
then i had to do some MAJOR sheetmetal work, and sand the whole thing down, and put some bondo on where it needed. [the wood plank on the hood was covering a hole about the same size...]
here are some pics of that work.
then, i turned this
to this
and the rest
and the temporary bench seat, because i needed to find REAL ones...
