Cvv2 ????????!!!!!

I'm trying to order parts of the rustys site. it want me to enter the cvv2 # off the back of the credit card. WHAT THE HELL IS A CCV2? does anyone know. rustys says "(This is a 3 or 4 digit number displayed on the front or back of your credit card)" But there are 4 different sets of numbers that fall under this catagory. 1 on ther front and 3 on the back. can anyone help me?

just for clairification that is C V V 2... not C W 2. not that that changes a thing for me. i still have no idea. haha. anyone?

On American Express, the numbers are embossed on the front, on MC and VISA check the signature strip, there might be some extra numbers.

and rustys says it can be a 3 or a 4 didget # ????? im

On the signature strip, there is your account number followed by a 3-digit number. That is the number you're looking for.

Go to your card web site, they will have a pick of the card somewhere with what it all means...
