Steve Irwin died today after being stung in the chest by a stingray. always knew nature would get him somehow just didn't think it would be this way.

that is the most un just way for him to go out man...
he deserved to be like killed while heroicaly defending his family from a herd of lions, and as he kills the last of the pack, it too gets one last lick that leaves him just enough time to proudly proclaim "ohhh, what a .... beaut'..... cri..kee..."

Steve was one hell of a guy. He's done more for the understanding and protection of animals than anyone could hope to in a lifetime. An asset to the zoological community and science as a whole, he will be missed.......

NO WAY! Thats unbelieveable! That was one guy who I enjoyed watching on TV, and all of his good shows and such. That sucks! Im shocked.:shiver:

ah poor guy.. my thoughts go out to his familly and many of the people who enjoyed watching his show too! i think he was pretty brave to do some of the stuff he did... and yes stupid comes to mind when i think of the guy. mainly cuz of some of the things he did on tv... but he could never be as bad as those retards from "jackass"

He'll be sorley missed down here in Oz, sure he was a bit full on but he was passionate about everything he did and really raised the profile of Australia and environmentalism without being a nutjob. I feel sorry for his wife and kids.

In this day and age it's a wonder his insurance company, if he could get any, did'nt require like a kevlar reinforced suit top. Yea, he was a bit over the top on some things and I understand the cringe comment. My daughter was a big fan of his and was the main reason she wanted to go to one of the two week camps down at seaworld, he influenced alot of kids in a good way and could hold their attention during his shows which in this day and age is a tough thing to do. May he rest in peace.
