I agree, that thing looks verrrry nice :D get rid of the 727 and I'd be asking about a trade plus cash ;)

Actually, the 727 bolted right up to the 4.0L and I gained an extra bolt over the crappy Peugeot BA 10/5. I've been contemplating a 5.7L hemi swap, from what I've read, it will also bolt right up to the 727. Post up a pic of your rig, sounds like you have a killer setup.

???

727 was used behind 440s, 426 hemis, you name it. Granted some different internals, but nevertheless a KILLER tranny, but only a 3-spd.

We have stacks of them at my house...lol. Only weak point of them is the reverse-band, but other than that pretty much bombproof.

Doh, never mind I saw pics of your rig earlier in this thread. Nice looking ride.

... :D

I wasn't saying the 727 is a weak tranny... but, notice my username.... auto+me=blah

Otherwise... Very nice Jeep! Just that automatic isn't my thing, is all :)

I noticed your username and since both of your rigs have manuals, I figured you were a stick man. So I didn't take the comment about the 727 as being a weak tranny, just not your cup of tea.

Mine with stock UCAs and LCAs, 4.5" RE springs, no swaybar, stock shocks (cut and extended...not the best, but I needed it on the road again, it's been fixed now :D) stock leafs with a 1.5" shackle and 30x9.5" Dunlop Mud Rovers:

And my brother in law's father in law's brother's Jeep being driven by his daughter. I think it was 4.5" RE all around with 32s:
